I am Meghan Wittbrodt, a multidisciplinary Design Lead with 10 years of experience and a background focusing in building cohesive identity systems. My creativity is rooted in crafting personal connections through storytelling and problem solving.

I most recently worked as an Art Director & Senior Designer for Twitter, and my work has been featured on ABC News, USA Today, & CNN. I live in Brooklyn and graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Graphic Design.

    Worked cross-functionally with the marketing, social, and brand teams to provide art direction and design. Had daily oversight of designed graphics on Twitter’s top handles, (@Twitter, @TwitterGaming, etc), provided feedback and approvals for a team of designers. Additional notable projects include storyboarding various videos, design for the launch of Twitter Super Follows campaign, and establishing the brand system for Twitter Spaces and Twitter Trends 2022.

  • April 2019 - June 2020

    Lead designer on a variety of branding projects, in partner with the Design Director and Creative Director. Worked independently and collaboratively to develop identity systems, starting with conceptual art directions and finishing with production. Notable projects include F&B spaces within The Londoner Hotel, the New York restaurant Fat Choy, and the re-brand of Arclight Cinemas.

  • July 2017 - April 2019

    Client facing lead branding designer in a fast paced environment, partnering directly with the Creative Director / Founder. Developed conceptual art directions and brand design. Supervised and managed the work of junior designers, freelancers, and interns. Worked with vendors and presented work to clients whom included various restaurants, bars, and hotels, as well as product lines for Bed Bath & Beyond and Walmart. Work created has been featured on ABC News, USA Today, and CNN.

    In House: AT&T / Audience Network, Fast Company Magazine, Laundry Service, etc.

    Worked across a range of mediums and clients to provide design work. Notable projects include key art concepts, logos, branding, illustrations, packaging and signage for television series such as Loudermilk, Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes, Condor and Religion of Sports. Additional on-going work included several digital publication issues for Fast Company Magazine and multiple restaurant branding projects.

  • July 2015 - Aug 2015

    Sole designer for the Foundation, living and working at Wright’s home, Taliesin West. Responsible for designing The Frank Lloyd Wright Quarterly, all print and digital collateral, over-seeing production, and working with fellowship partners to further develop the Foundation re-brand. Fellowship partnered with mentors from Pentagram and Eight And A Half Studio.
